Exploring the Benefits of Partner Yoga: Strengthening Bonds and Enhancing Poses




Partner Yoga allows two people to relate to one another through assisted poses. From stretching your levels of trust to strengthening your communication, partner yoga can have a positive effect on your relationship that extends far beyond the physical.





Working with a partner provides balance in a pose while establishing and maintaining proper body alignment. It also allows each yogi to experience the pose in a different way.


Partner yoga helps build relationships as the yogis share the pose, movements and breath. Each must step outside him/herself to connect with the other and work together.


Enjoy poses in a way that enhances posture & strength, builds trust & communication all while having fun, making shapes and expanding your yoga practice together.


Two Questions we get asked about this practice:


Q: I am a beginner, do I need to know what to do?

A: NO. Come as you are for this practice. Your instructor will guide you into shapes and poses with your partner and all of the poses will be accessible and fun for the beginner and experienced yogi alike.





Q: Does my partner need to be a romantic partner?

A: No. They sure can be. But you can also bring a friend, relative or even a fun-loving co-worker! Bring anyone that will enjoy the experience of laughter, challenge and yoga.
